We guide students towards developing a strong fundamentals technique that respects the tango principles and focuses on the subtleties of the movement and the interpretation of the music. In this special class we will explore playful functional figures suitable for small spaces, close embrace subtleties, technique fundamentals and more Enrich your Tango language and enhance your floor craft skills! Staring off with studying basic elements and essential in order to strengthen individual technique, posture and balance and then moving into more complex material. The second part of the class is practice oriented. We will explore and integrate all technical aspects and subtleties of the movement, solidifying muscle memory, improving floor navigation, musicality and adaptability to different bodies and spaces. Class is suitable for everyone interested in learning, reinforcing and solidifying fundamental concepts towards improving the quality of your dance. **Partner is not required but recommended. ** Class is not suitable for absolute beginners. A minimum knowledge of walking, Ochos and molinetes is required. |
